Replica Bat-Design
The Story:
The Batlanta Crime Cruiser began life as a 1980's Chevrolet Corvette. The Donor car was stripped down to only the frame and engine. It had to be stretched to meet the needs of the 19 ft long Bat-body. The Engine was reconditioned along with all elements of the Drivetrain. The Bat-body was constructed from fiberglass and then mounted to the frame. Next, Doors, Hood, and Trunk were cut and made functional. The next step was hand fabrication of all interior components and details including all Bat-Accessories. At this point the Body had finshing work done and was prepped for painting. The wiring was done and the Bat- Cockpit Windscreens were mounted. The car was painted in the famous Bat-Paint Scheme. The interior components were finished and put in place. The Radir Wheels and Tires were mounted. A Final Buttoning up of details and a thorough test drive was performed. Thus was a simple Corvette turned into the World's Most Famous Crime Fighting Car... well a Replica anyway.
